Good notice Bernhard, I wouldn't either.

About being biased . . . every time when I hear the word "wordpress" I get a bit jumpy . . . . but hey that's just me . . . .
About biased coders I know, they like to joke around: "watch out - Im gonna stuff your laptop with wordpress code" - lol

If somebody looks for html themes, it only takes 5 min. bouncing over the net and you find lots of good and free themes

Thanks for sharing! I think I wouldn't buy a theme of a theme company that uses a bought WordPress theme for their own website ? Or am I biased?

Agreed - I honestly didn't pay much attention because it said "coming soon" and I was happy to see PW included along with Wordpress and Joomla.

Last night I did some researches for a client with an old WordPress site. I was looking for german web articles about Processwire, cause the client is from Berlin.
I found this article: https://www.sputnika.de/dresden/news/campus-halensis-de-das-neue-online-magazin-der-martin-luther-universitaet-gid-5976

It's about the redesign of this site: https://www.campus-halensis.de/
The old version was a WordPress site, now it runs with ProcessWire.

Thanks @jmartsch, the client is »prepared« for Processwire.
The next weeks, I have to ask some questions here about how to import comments (with their original timestamp) from Wordpress into Processwire.

@neophron

There's a WP-Migrator module floating around somewhere, iirc. And there are various code-bits from Ryan here (although, apparently the old WP-site had comments stored in Disqus, not native WP).

It's just a small mention, but web-ostajanopas.fi ("web buyers guide", a Finnish blog managed by consult company North Patrol) recently listed most popular ecommerce platforms used by bigger Finnish companies, and ProcessWire found its way to the top 10 with a ~3% market share ?

https://web-ostajanopas.fi/2019/06/17/datakatsaus-isojen-kotimaisten-verkkokauppojen-teknologiat-vuonna-2019/

Just last month they did a separate mobile speed comparison of the top 10, and here ProcessWire was the fastest of the bunch (although admittedly the key finding in their study was that, generally speaking, the mobile performance of Finnish ecommerce sites is pretty bad).

It seems that the data for PW is largely due to one product: the ecommerce platform from Oscar Software, which (according to North Patrol) was built on top of ProcessWire.

@Beluga Wow spectacular! I'm so sad I don't understand a thing haha. Does anyone know if this software works on premises or does it work like a service?

Before you get too excited, I'd like to point out that it's hard to say how much of the GUI in the video is related to ProcessWire – a lot of the URLs go to .php files, etc. Looking at their references I can see some ProcessWire–ish stuff, but honestly I couldn't say for sure what the platform is. I can only assume that the folks behind the blog know something I don't... ?

Anyway, it seems that this is a hosted solution.
