  1. Are you able to post your workaround so that someone can review and may be able to improve upon your methods?
  2. I am very glad that you have joined our ProcessWire community, however I'm wondering when are you going to author a post about your use of ProcessWire? You ask very good questions about PHP, other frameworks and other CMS platforms in comparison to ProcessWIre. Our community members have been extremely gracious in answering these questions. Don't get me wrong, these questions have merit, and as Off-topic conversations fit within what the forum is about. What I haven't seen is where you are asking for help building a ProcessWire site or having a problem with a ProcessWire module, inputfield, backup or anything website building related. That's just an observation that I have made over time in reviewing all of your postings so far. I look forward to your additional Off-Topic postings and please don't take this as a criticism. I enjoy the wealth of interaction on the ProcessWire forum regardless of the subject and have looked forward to reading everyone's comments for the last few years. Respectfully, Charles
  3. Please add this module to the official module directory
  4. Moderator's Comment: Moved to General Support. These comments should have been part of the existing SCF Support Topic
  5. Are, you are having a problem after upgrading to PW 3.0.85? If so, please provide some additional information that will help us help you. Thanks.
  6. Very good article. I also like how they don't hide information regarding developing this website, to include both a Changelog and Roadmap section under their "Dev Index" https://www.ancientworldmagazine.com/dev/
  7. The screen I showed was from going to /Setup/Field and picking the field that has been assigned Page AutoComplete as in input.
  8. You may want to look at the field that has Page Autocomplete as the input and see how it's configured.
  9. @johnnydoe, I would suggest you sending a PM to @ryan to find out how regain access to the Form Builder forum. Good luck.
  10. Looks like you are running eAccelerator Opcode Cache. That could be causing you some problems. Just an observation.
  11. This may not affect what issues you are currently facing. Whenever I have a SSL Certificate, in addition to the .htaccess changes - I go to /Setup/Templates and change the settings in the URL tab as follows for all templates:
  12. or this one https://processwire.com/blog/posts/introducing-a-new-processwire-site-profile/
  13. Are you able to upgrade your ProcessWire install? The reason I asked is that @ryan has upgraded things related to roles. https://processwire.com/blog/posts/processwire-3.0.81-upgrades-the-role-editor/ You may want to check this blog entry and see if this will make your permissions problem easier to work with?
  14. Thanks. Can you also confirm that the page "Atlantis the palm" is assigned to the "t5Hotel_List" template? Also make sure that any fields in this template don't have their own access permissions assigned. To make things clear to everyone, please provide the versions of the following: ProcessWire and PHP. Providing the OS and it's version would also help with troubleshooting this issue.
  15. Have you confirmed that the user "tester" is assigned to the role "tester"?
  16. This is the first collaborative project that my wife and myself have worked together on. The goal was simple --- Create a public online experience that showed off the "Custom Artisan" jewelry that she has made for years. https://yellowrosecreations.biz The website is built around an e-commerce platform. Through ongoing work with a new client of mine, I had gotten to know about Ecwid as an e-commerce solution that was tied in closely in with Square (a financial services, merchant services aggregator and mobile payment company). My work with Ecwid for the past few months afforded me with the opportunity to get this web project up and online in no time. Let me be clear, while this e-commerce solution works fine, our long term goal is to use Padloper for the online store. That long term goal is more about controlling where our data resides and being able to freely enhance the total shopping experience. I already know that a solution based on ProcessWire will give us the ultimate e-commerce flexibility. The great thing about the ProcessWire platform is that there are numerous tools that enable you to get things done. To my delight, I discovered that using the Hanna Code module allowed me to easily integrate Ecwid (which actually means e-commerce widget) code into a ProcessWire website. I will write a separate article about how that works at a later time. The website makes use of the UnSemantic Responsive CSS grid with Zurb Foundation components added/mixed in. This is an unconventional combination to use, but it works for us. On the ProcessWire side, there were a few critical modules that contributed to gettng this website online: TextformatterHannaCode ProcessDatabaseBackups CronjobDatabaseBackup AdminLinksInFrontend ProCache FormBuilder PrevNextTabs WireMailSmtp ImportPagesCSV ProcessEmailToPage MarkupProcesswirePhotoswipe Hanna Code snippets were used throughout to populate the Ecwid Online Shopping Bag, the Ecwid Main Online Store, different Ecwid Product Category Listings, the green Foundation Buttons in the website sidebar and some other webiste features. ProcessWire Page Table and Page Reference fields were instrumental in generating the product descriptions that are used on the Ecwid Online Store. Each jewelry item has it's own page within ProcessWire that can be later used with the Padloper e-commerce solution. On the backend side, we were able to create a repository page that keeps track of each product, SKU, pricing and their current disposition status related to the Online Store. This has been a fun and fascinating project to work on. It took us a few weeks to get everything worked out. As I have said before, ProcessWire makes projects of this type possible because you are not limited by the front-end framework you can use. Even when there are not dedicated modules to incorporate a feature that you like, this platform and it's openness allows you to do things that are impossible to do on other systems. It just takes a little ingenuity, planning and time on your part to make things work.
  17. I'm not sure there is a real problem to troubleshoot. When I first got the PrevNextTabs upgraded from version 6 to 7, the tabs overlapped on my display with where the Admin Help Tabs were located. I changed to the Reno Admin theme and then everything worked. I then changed back to AdminUIKit theme and the PrevNextTasbs were to the right of the screen and working properly. I had a combination of things going on at that time (working on my Mac and a new Windows 10 machine) updating other ProcessWire websites and other monitoring tools. I chalked it up to possible operator error, possible cached after effects or a combination of the two. I was only glad it worked. PrevNextTabs is a time saver here. I started not to mention anything at all, but said what the heck. Thanks for 2 quality products, which I use every day.
  18. Works great! FWIW, I had to enable the tabs in your Admin Help Tab module before things started looking OK in AdminUIKit theme. However, it could have been some cached display that I was looking at when I first updated the PrevNextTabs module. Anyway, thanks for the quick response. This module saves me a lot of time when editing quite a few pages. Thanks!
  19. Thanks both. I guess I will have to finally try AOS. I've monitored it's progress (since it was published) and I know everyone loves it! The great thing about ProcessWire, besides the core software, are the great enhancements (contributions) from the community. There's a lot of very useful stuff being produced on a constant basis. Plus there are many people from everywhere generously working together to improve things.
  20. First, I have been enjoying using this module. It save time. I just switched over to the new Admin Theme (UIkit) and now am having problems using the prev/next. It seems to work ok on the Default and Reno themes. Uikit Admin Theme Reno Admin Theme Default Admin Theme Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. I have this problem on version 17 and 18 of the AdminUIkit theme.
