You can vote more than once?

Depends how many personalities you have. O0

Apparently, this is pretty routine with Bitnami. Certainly a gray area ethically, but what do they say about love and war?

Thanks,

Matthew

Hey, I have to check in the morning to make sure I still have the one I was born with - wouldn't want to make it more complicated!!

Without any hacking with ip changers, torbrowser and stuff like that, you can vote multiple times as long as your ip changes (maybe clear browser too).

I myself have voted 5 or 6 times, at home, 3G, parents, work, friends etc.

It could be said that if one personality checking in the morning if the one given at birth is still the same could equal 2 personalities. ;)

I see that our lead has been cut down to just a handful of votes now...

If you haven't voted yet - now would be nice! :)

Been doing my best to get the word out and get some votes in and managed to get a quite a few votes in today from whoever was willing to vote.

But form what I see there doesn't seem to be much other action going on elsewhere.

Calculating all the votes i gathered and counting it up, looks like hardly anyone has voted recently.

I have to say looking at the votes for Ametys cms. They seem to be coming in like clockwork. Like a vote every 3-5 minutes while the other apps are locked in at around the same number of votes.

Looks like they have brought in some secret weapon with their army.

Curious, because they have only a total of 211 registered users in their community.

I have used Wordpress since it first came out, but it was years till I registered with their community.

I think the two main places for interaction for many apps these days is Facebook and Twitter rather than their own forums. Really it would be nice to link the three together here so that just by visiting this forum, it also answers any twitter posts or Facebook posts while using the same interface.

Likewise, any new post on here, plus answers, are put up as conversations on twitter and/or facebook (albeit in truncated form with links.

That way people can choose the interface they want while centralising all the information.

as one could feel immediately...they fake. So we have to fake as well ;-)

look at ERPnext, they were behind us, and now... seems that they just don't fake ;-)

their votes seem to have some connection to the size of their community ...

No need to fake - better to play it straight. And there is no evidence anyone else is faking or not. Just supposition, which is not exactly accurate :)

ERP may just be waiting to do a last minute rush, of course!

I notice a lot of their votes seem to happen at this time of day. I think they are based in France, so it is probably everyone getting home and logging in!

      Hi,
Could anyone advise me on the following system requirements, which I am missing for ProcessWire installation:
DO (pdo_mysql) is required (for MySQL database)
Fail: GD 2.0 or newer  Fail: JSON support ZipArchive support was not found. This is recommended, but not required to complete installation.

During the install process I can never get to Step 4 for setting up an admin account.
It creates the database and in the screen it shows it installed the database and imported the SQL
and under that it shows "Profile Import" but nothing else.
I have the same result with master & dev branch.
I looked in the database and do not see a user table of any kind, unless it has some other name than "users"

      Hi everyone,
I can't get my head around this, so maybe someone can help: I want to know how install the dev branch of processwire with composer.
I use laragon and the "quick create" function and there you can run composer like this: "composer create-project processwire/processwire %s". OK, this is working, so I will get the master branch from it, but how about dev? I found some examples for laravel on this question, but no luck with it. Here some examples:
      composer create-project processwire/processwire %s --prefer-dist --stability=dev composer create-project processwire/processwire:dev %s composer create-project processwire/processwire:dev %s --stability=dev composer create-project processwire/processwire:dev %s --prefer-dist --stability=dev composer create-project processwire/processwire:dev-master %s --prefer-dist --stability=dev composer create-project processwire/processwire:dev-branch %s --prefer-dist --stability=dev composer create-project processwire/processwire:@dev %s --prefer-dist --stability=dev and so on... Maybe someone got this already and would like to share?

      Hi,
I'm a System Administrator responsible for DevOps in our Company. We're trying PW in a single client project atm and experience some glitches with DevOps-/Workflow.
We have a small team of developers that need to work with the same code base. They all need to be able to develop locally and deploy to a preview/staging environment.
Our Toolstack contains git for versioning, chef/vagrant or docker for local development/testing and Jenkins for building assets and automatic deployment to the staging-site.
There's several challenges / glitches in this process that makes me think that ProcessWire hadn't been developed for a use case like ours and is much more intended to be used by single developers that work right on the production system.
Can you advise me on a suitable workflow?

There's problems with the assets/files dir that must be shared between the staging website and local environments of our developers.
We're right now working with symlinks on the staging system that helps to preserve the direcory when deploying from the master branch. but now we tend to use nfs-shares so devs can collaborate with a shared directory.

The local docker containers can use the same target (the nfs) from inside the containers. But is that the way it needs to be done? Really?
There's so much work that needs to be done to fit ProcessWire in a DevOps Workflow that we tend to decide to switch to another CMS.

Any suggestions or hints that i might have missed. Am I wrong or is PW really not meant to be used this way. I

Hello. I'm not new to Processwire (I've been using it on a Mac environment for multiple site builds), but I am new to installing it on a Windows environment. I have unsuccessfully installed Processwire 3.0.62 both via downloaded zip file and GitHub on my Windows machine. The Site Installation Profile and Compatibility Checks are successful, and I am able to get past the MySql Database screen. However, this is where the installation process stops (step 3). The Test Database and Save Configuration screen says my database connection was successful and the configuration was saved to ./site/config.php and that's it, but I know from my ProcessWire experience I should also see fields for setting up the admin login etc. on this screen. I can't go any further after this. I've redone this process multiple times. I am running XAMPP, if that helps. Any clue what could be stopping the installation process?
