I am planning to release a commercial site-profile for a hotel-website on codecanyon.net What do you think about the idea/project? I mostly think of it as a long-term project with regular updates and a low-price. I also think that Themeforest / Codecanyon can potentially be a great place for making Processwire more popular. 1

Not only do I wish you success in your endeavour, but I am hopeful that this will also give ProcessWire some good exposure . 3

Please write an article about your experience so we can learn how to do the same :). How you will manage updates? (specially database related ones) cheers. 1

I will as soon as i manage to publish it first! Regarding updates i am not thinking of providing any special update strategy. New versions will have the latest database & files and list with all the files that have changed. See ya 2
adrian Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 A couple of comprehensive looking video tutorials in Polish by the folks at: https://xtras.pl/ 5
adrian Posted January 28, 2017 Posted January 28, 2017 There are 6 10 38 episodes now, so I'll just link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAC6bGszwXecqp1Nq2qn1Sg 3
adrian Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 A little humorous PW vs Drupal comparison https://www.slant.co/versus/14277/4267/~drupal_vs_processwire When comparing Drupal vs ProcessWire, the Slant community recommends Drupal for most people. In the question“What are the best web content management systems?” Drupal is ranked 2nd while ProcessWire is ranked 13th.The most important reason people chose Drupal is:A more complex Drupal installation can easily exhaust 256 MB of RAM with only one or two visitors. 3
szabesz Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Hi all, My first – hopefully useful – ProcessWire related tutorial: http://szabesz.hu/blog/install-processwire-in-a-subfolder-on-shared-hosting-cpanel_ins-sub/ 8
adrian Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 PW #1 on Slant - never heard of Slant and none of the CMS options have many votes yet, but still https://www.slant.co/topics/5409/~php-cms 2

And they left out the same in the case of WordPress: "Everything has to be a 'custom post' even if you don't use it as a post". Same for Drupal: "Everything has to be a 'node' even if you don't use it as a node" This is just the chosen terminology, so the person who made it up does not understand too much 6

pwired Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Its an existential thing. The world is more than the sum of its parts, like processwire is more than the sum of its code.
Soma Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Ok according to L.Wittgenstein: "The world is the totality of facts, not of things".
