Would love to, but it's not a priority for me right now and I don't have time. But since I documented how it works, I'm open to implement it if someone finds a way…

Same here. Maybe someone else wants to give it a try. Or I'll go for it myself when I find some time. Would also love to. And your explanations definitely help a lot to understand everything a lot quicker. Thanks!

@maxf5 - fixing it – is an issue with AOS, release 0.5.3 does fix it.

And I've also further refined the login screens:

Well, I had designed colourful login screens, but did not really like them. If you still want to look at these and maybe give some feedback, you are welcome:

Spoiler

Quick question: How do you guys like these colourful login screens?

Hey @Noel Boss, me again 🙂

I still don't get how your theme works or how you built it. Where do all those LESS files come from? I see you include a copy of UIKIT in your module including all the regular uikit less files. But there are lots of pw related LESS files in it as well:

uMCI3s5.png

Did you build those files on your own? I can't find any less files in the PW core... I've already successfully built a custom UIKIT frontend theming module where LESS parsing is done on the fly via PHP: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFXnX1Y72l

It would be great to have such an easy way of customizing the backend as well.

Those .less files don't come pre-installed - at least not in my instances (mostly blank or multi-language profiles).

So... I don't think you messed anything up while searching for the files.

AAAAh 🙂 Now I understand. That's the github version of the admin theme and the shipped version in the core is different. Thx for clarifying!

Thx again @wbmnfktr I tried that approach today and created a new thread that might be interesting for some others here as well:

Did you miss the readme or did I mess up and should make anything more clear there?

Everything fine now, thx.

Hi everyone! And thanks for Processwire!

A small bug found in this great admin theme. It concerns the datepicker behavior. If we have two date fields one below another, the first field datepicker may slide below the input field of second field. The problem can be resolved by changing the AdminThemeBoss\uikit\dist\css\uikit.(color).min.css from:

.pw .ui-datepicker#ui-datepicker-div { z-index:2 !important; background: ...

to:

.pw .ui-datepicker#ui-datepicker-div { background: ...

Thanks again for this nice theme!

I think we might have a problem here, boss.
Is login screen suppose to look like this in version 0.6.2? Version 0.6.1 looks ok (minus the notification bar covering input fields).

I have the same results on two installments (pw 3.0.123, firefox 70 and Chromium) one was an upgrade from 0.5.4, second clean install.1918847169_Screenshot_2019-09-18LoginProcessWire.thumb.png.6671089c8b4379644c98e912d72a60ce.png

New Release 0.6.3 – Codename »hehehe«

The last release with a "fix" to the login screen actually broke stuff more than fixing it (thanks @johndoe for reporting this). So this is a fix for the fix… Sorry about that. And some improvements to the login screen on mobile devices.

Added

  • Fullscreen login screen on mobile 📲
  • Improved notifications on login screen

Fixed

  • Fixed Login screen design 🤯

Good stuff.
I don't want to sound like a broken record here, but there's another minor issue:
Horizontal scrollbar now appears when content exceeds the viewport height. To my understanding this issue is connected to the 'pw' css class in html tag.
It was ok in v0.5.4

@johndoe can you please open an issue and provide some more info… OS, Browser, Screenshot and if you have any clue, affected css… Thanks!

The Minimal Site works fine, but if I try to login as admin, I have no idea what the credentials are.
I did not do the "install" process myself. The OVA came with everything set up, but there's no mention of the PW admin credentials being set to some initial value.
Wondering if anyone else has tried the Bitnami OVA and if there's a simple answer.

I don't have any fontawesome icons in the admin section. Not sure what's wrong. They used to appear. I've tried all the user profiles and they're gone in all of them.
Using the browser inspector tool, I see this message:
Access to font at 'https://www.domain.com/wire/templates-admin/styles/font-awesome/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.ttf?v=4.7.0' from origin 'http://domain.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
I'm not sure why this is occurring or how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Getting a little deeper into the ProcessWire state-of-mind here. I seriously think I wouldn't have come back to webdev if it wasn't for this wonderful little gem of a CMS.
I have an "Options" field added to all users on a site. If the user has anything other then "default" selected, I would like to show a permanent message in the admin like the one in the screenshot, only so that the user can't close it. As a friendly reminder that he changed that option from default to something crazy 🙂
I've read up on how to send messages to users, but where would I hook into to make this show up all the time in the backend?
      https://processwire.com/api/ref/wire/message/
      Thanks in advance!

Here's a small new module that adds a "Manage tags" button to the template list, just like the field list already has.
Easily add, remove and change tags for your templates.

      Hello 🙂
I have set up pagination on a mulitlanguage site.
I've done this before, but this time I have a problem I can't solve.
Pagination is activated on 'parent-template' and 'child-template' just to be sure 🙂
      This is my code:
      $children = $page->children('limit=1'); foreach($children as $child) { $title = $child->title; echo $title; } echo $children->renderPager(); The navigation is output correctly and the link look correct as well 'parent-page/page2/'.
But when I click the link, the site seems to redirect back to 'parent-page/
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
      - Peter
