  1. At first I wanted to edit the htaccess to force the www, because my client wants it that way. But then after checking the link you shared and reading a few other pages, I decided to change the canonical name. Previously it was elpasoprint.net. Now I added the www to it. it appears to be working. I supposed it'll take a few hours to resolve DNS issues?! Would you mind testing it for me from your end of the webs?
  2. Yes, saw that It just started happening, not sure at all, how long it's been happening for. The last time I visited his site was months ago. I have not had to change any thing. It looks like I will be switching to NameCheap as soon as possible. But my client is a bit of a ... disorganizedfellow. He never was able to find his GoDaddy email on setting up the domain. The only reason we currently even have it pointed at the right host is because I was able to finally talk to a GoDaddy rep with enough brain cells. Took me about an hour on the phone with them yahoos.
  3. UGH! I've hated GoDaddy for many years and refuse to do any business with them. They always seemed to mess things up for me.
  4. I just got a call from a client of mine. He has simple needs, therefore, a simple static site that I have hosted with Nearly Free Speech. GoDaddy is the registrar. I would have preferred switching it over to NameCheap, but he's happy where it's at. Today he calls me and states that he can not access the site with www in front. I try, and fail as well. I enter the site name without www and still can not access it. WHAT CAN I ACCESS? Time Warner Cable is our ISP. My client and I live in the same city, thus the same crappy over-charging ISP. Any and all attempts to enter the site name results in a search results page. My clients website is listed as number one. For now, this seems to be the ONLY way I can access the site, my clicking the first returned result. We used to be very proud that he was getting plenty of calls for his services. Several leads per week. Now he's getting NONE Here is the site name. elpasoprint.net www.elpasoprint.net http://elpasoprint.net http://www.elpasoprint.net Please try with the www and without.
  5. My oldest daughter is 8 now. She's learning how to type in school and spends a few hours per week doing some online assignments. Surprisingly, she's really gotten quite good at typing! I'm looking for recommendations or suggestions on how I can chat with my daughter via a web app/service or some Android app. She has a tablet but I would prefer a web app. I don't mind signing up for a free service or something, but would prefer to install on my own server.
  6. When you view the offenders website source code, what does it show? An iframe? Your content? Maybe some crafty hotlink protection in your htaccess file is needed.
  7. I AM ABSOLUTELY APPALLED AND OFFENDED! Your organizational skills are better than mine lol
  8. This is an old topic worth resurrecting @Hani I'm sure you've made some progress in speed and performance. Have you switched to a VPS? What did you do to reduce your number of fields?
  9. Loving what is going on here. Excited to soon see the product
  10. Digital Ocean comes to mind, but I do beleive they are U.S. based. EDIT: You are in luck! https://www.digitalocean.com/company/blog/introducing-our-london-region/
  11. @Tom. My apologies for the previous posting. I dig the site man. Really fresh. Loving the colors! My only negative comment: the hamburger menu. After clicking it, it becomes an 'X'. Can you make the 'X' remain in the exact same place as the cursor, after clicking the hamburger icon? So the user doesn;t have to move left to close the menu? And the social icons, that appear in the menu? Probably make them hover UP or DOWN, instead of from the side. It's a little jarring and visually "OFF" to have them slide in and out from the side. Perhaps make them the same as in the footer?!
  12. Tom. identified you as spam, as will I. Your profile states you are from Saratoga, CA. yet you mention Alexa ranking of ProcessWire in India. Why India? I'm on to you from the get-go, as WE say in the U.S. Your Twitter username is brand new, only several days old with 3 tweets and 8 users. All of whom seem to be WordPress related. By the way, nobody from Saratoga California ends their comments with the salutation, "Cheers!" It's not rad enough!

  14. If you are able to, can you share and document here so that others with a similar problem?
  15. First: were you able to get a clean install running? Do that. Get your permissions set up http://processwire.com/docs/security/file-permissions/ Also there is a different setup if your Apache is version older than 2.4. It's commented in the $root/.htaccess file. Checkout lines 52-75. It explains there. I'm sure we can all help you get this up and running soon! hang in there
  16. Put this in one of your templates, <?php echo $config->version; ?>
  17. Which is why Ubuntu LTS is most used for web servers. I've never met someone who preferred to use Arch and its rolling release system. Too easily breakable. Arch is wonderful for tinkerers and "hard core" Linux users. I used to run it on my desktop but found it too rapid paced for me. I need my localhost LAMP server NOT to break, lol.
  18. AWW MAANNNNN, I did a forum search for 'letsencrypt' but it did not return any results. I should've used The Googles.
  19. https://letsencrypt.org/ Let’s Encrypt is a new Certificate Authority: It’s free, automated, and open. Arriving Q4 2015 i am VERY excited about this!!!
  20. Now that you have piqued our interests ... YOU MUST SHARE!!! or PM me?
  21. And then you have everything listed here! http://www.frontendhandbook.com/tools.html
  22. Absolutely LOVE the mircopinna site. So colorful! It scales beautifully on mobile! I like how you are hosting these as subdomains. Which module are you using for this?
