Hi everyone! I'm facing a similar project right now, creating an API for a mobile application. This post has been very educational, though I have a question: How to handle login from the app? Even though the app will be released on stores, it is meant to be used by certain members of an organization. I'm not very knowledgeable in the way PW handles login, so if anyone could point me out to any resource that could help me how I could implement this. Registration wouldn't be needed since the user base will be populated from PW itself. Edit: I found this thread with posts from @apeisa and @ryan talking a bit about the login cookies. It seems I could just save the cookies on the mobile app, send them with the request and manually checking if the cookies correspond to a session or something in that fashion? Edit 2: Found another thread with a similar situation.

Looking very good! Can't wait to get see the rest! I like that it includes Vuejs as a bonus, I've been meaning to learn some, and fitting it into the ProcessWire context is wonderful.

@LostKobrakai, @tpr Indeed I had seen Nette forms! I am yet to try them when developing on Processwire but it does seem like THE choice. I missed being more specific that I was looking for a Javascript solution, completely on the "view" side of things, just because I'm working on Java right now and it would seem a bit cumbersome to mix it with PHP (although in Liferay it appears to be quite possible). Thanks for the input!

Yes! It has been actually a very cool finding too, and very useful. This post intention was to just look for options , I always try to do this before finally deciding to use a library or some resource for development. Although right now I'm already prototyping in Alpaca. My reasoning was that form generation must be a problem that must have been solved before, just like PW's very own form API. So maybe somewhere on the Internet I had missed an important tool from the past , just like I had missed PW for a few years

I'm building some Liferay portlets for a call center and I'm looking for form engines like Alpaca Forms which is the one I'm currently using (and fits my needs), but I would only like to ask around if someone knows of a similar alternative when it comes to generating forms on the front.

Great addon! Have been using it and I like how it tweaks the admin. This feels like when I found out about HelperFieldLinks. Maybe one day all of this will go into "power user mode" module.

@sketchapp No size override for symbols? @MacAffinity did the trick with embedded docs. Eg. Logo as symbol for multiple resolutions.

I have the same problem of laggy animations, it never really gets to actually feel smooth. I always feel this scrolling pages should occur in discrete steps, so you can have control of the animation, I feel like leaving control to the scrolling makes it a bit quirky, at least a kind of damping like jQuery NiceScroll library provides. I tried this types myself once, failed miserably, so much work on to keep it responsive.

Hi johnnydoe, welcome to the forum! I think the easiest approach is to use the Processwire API. Give a look at the Skyscrapper profile template files. Specifically, the search.php template file. Take a look at how the Processwire API is used to check for HTTP variables and sanitize the data received. In the end of the search.php file you will find: $content .= renderSkyscraperList(findSkyscrapers($selector)); ..Which you can take a look here in the functions.php file, and it is the function that actually renders the markup from the PageArray retrieved by the selector queries. It is saved into $content, and rendered in _out.php. You might also take a look at this page of the documentation explaining the $input variable. https://processwire.com/api/variables/input/
