hmm, in Firefox 37 on Windows 7 there's no background image, only white? With Chrome it's ok.
  3. thanks for the update (MarkupWeather). Will wait until Nikola is ready. BTW: there's an error in your pr (german string inside): instead of: $out .= "<div class='location'><h3>Aktuelles Wetter in... must be: $out .= "<div class='location'><h3>" . $location[0]['city'] . "</h3>...
  4. I have set up a new repo in GitHub with german translation files for ProcessWire modules. https://github.com/Manfred62/pw-modules-lang-de This is a small collection of module translations. Most translations are only "nice to have", because they are for admin use only. Some modules for the use of user/clients or output on frontend are more important to be translated. If someone has translated (german) other modules and like to share them in a central place, post the files here the forum. Then I will upload it to the repo. Afterwards it will be easier to keep them up to date (via forks and pr's). 5. Hi Horst, nice site! But the MENU text ("cd-menu-... ") is imho nearly invisible. Maybe change the color from white to something darker for better contrast. Or add a hover effect?
  6. yes, just tried this and it's not possible. Must be in an very old version where I did it. So better take the second solution. at the end of language-page you can upload files. Simply drag&drop the zip or files there. It will generate a folder with an id under /site/assets/files/
  7. hi lisandi, little bit confusing (your description)... Example: you have 3 languages english, german, finnish 1. name=default, title=English, english has or needs no files because strings are in core. Remember: PW always needs a default language. 2. name=german, title=German, has 1** files with translations 3. name=finnish, title=Finnish, has 1** files with translations now you can rename the name and titles. Maybe you will get a error message, but then hard reload the page (so it was earlier). 1. name=english, title=English, english has or needs no files because strings are in core. 2. name=default, title=German, has 1** files with translations 3. name=finnish, title=Finnish, has 1** files with translations other possibility: load the german files into the default language, rename title to German. Then create new language: name=english, title=English (no files needed). and so on... Because users: guest is always the frontend for not-logged-in users. After logging in, the registered user will see the backend in the language, which you can set in the user profiles. If you don't change the language in the guest user profile, it always uses the default language. EDIT: first solution not possible anymore
  8. new german updates for actual PW dev 2.5.8 (06 November 2014). https://github.com/M...ang-de/tree/dev PW dev translation now contains 126 files
  9. hi Christophe, I think it's better to translate inside PW instead of working with a text-editor. It's not perfect to work with, but doable. See the image. If you upload empty files, you will get all translatable strings as empty inputs. Example: 'Template' is empty, because it's the same word in german. 'Created' will be translated with 'Erstellt'. Imho best practice: take the existing french files, compare filenames with the empty-pack. Some files will not be used anymore. Then put the rest of the fr-files in the empty-pack (replace the same filenames). At the end you should have 122 files (for stable PW). Upload them and start translating.
  10. new german updates for actual PW dev 2.5.7 (01 November 2014). https://github.com/Manfred62/pw-lang-de/tree/dev
  11. Hi Christophe, if you want to do some french translation you can take the existing lang files and compare them with the list of files from this thread. In the stable PW 2.5.2 we have 122 files for translation. For the new dev there are 3 more files. If you want, you can also start from scratch with the empty files of the mentioned thread. The existing fr lang pack is a little bit old. Not sure if the authors stopped working with? You can try to contact them.
  12. of course there are some em's (converted from pixels) to care about in media-queries like in the first post --> the default way. Another way: your content makes the breakpoints. Means, start from mobile size. Then slowly widen your browser. When the page starts looking ugly it's time to set a breakpoint.
  13. normally you do this within the language file "wire--modules--inputfield--inputfieldckeditor--inputfieldckeditor-module". If you have the german language pack installed it's already set to german.
  14. here you find the updates in german language files for the PW dev. https://github.com/Manfred62/pw-lang-de/tree/dev new german updates for actual PW dev 2.5.5 (19 October 2014). updated files: wire--modules--fieldtype--fieldtypedatetime-module.json wire--modules--inputfield--inputfieldpagetable--inputfieldpagetable-module.json wire--modules--process--processtemplate--processtemplate-module.json wire--core--pages-php.json added files: wire--modules--process--processrecentpages--processrecentpages-module.json wire--modules--system--systemnotifications--systemnotifications-module.json
  15. the easiest solution is: go into your language (where all the files are listed) --> double clic any Trash icon --> all files are marked --> save now all files are deleted now upload the new files --> ready Hint: the double clic works for /wire/ files or for /site/ files in PW 2.5*. No Problem with local files. The solution Marc/mademyday suggested also works.. if you replace the same files. Not sure, what happens with added/new files? Be aware: the de-lang-pack is for PW 2.5. I tested 2.5.1 some minutes and found a lot of changes regarding the language. BTW: maybe an admin/moderator can split some of the posts in a new thread "updating languages"? Could be of interest for others and isn't specific for german language pack.
  16. no, not really anymore. But PW also scans some files that should not or cannot be translated. So I think it's a little bit easier for new translators to take this prepared empty pack.
  17. the "empty lang pack" is updated --> contains 122 files now. Based on the pre 2.5 version of PW from 13 September 2014.
  18. nice to see yet another fully translated language. But these 6 files have no translatable phrases (at least for me?). So you can skip them. wire--core--interfaces-php.json wire--core--languagefunctions-php.json wire--core--wire-php.json wire--modules--languagesupport--processlanguagetranslator-module.json wire--modules--textformatter--textformattermarkdownextra--markdown-php.json wire--templates-admin--topnav-inc.json these two files can be translated, but don't have to. See comment inside files: wire--modules--admintheme--adminthemedefault--adminthemedefaulthelpers-php.json wire--modules--admintheme--adminthemedefault--default-php.json FOR TRANSLATORS: please translate the file /wire/templates-admin/default.php rather than this one
  19. new german updates for actual PW dev 2.4.18 (04 September 2014). 20. yes, some files have to be overwritten and a lot new will be added
  21. new german updates for actual PW dev 2.4.16 (01 September 2014). Zip contains only updated/added files (in comparison to the default 2.4 lang pack). updated files: wire--modules--process--processmodule--processmodule-module.json pw-lang-de-dev-update.zip
  22. looks nice. around 800px and smaller there's a horizontal scrollbar.
  23. I think, it's possible to configure HTMLpurifier for html5: http://htmlpurifier.org/live/configdoc/plain.html#HTML.Allowed Must be in this file?: https://github.com/ryancramerdesign/ProcessWire/blob/dev/wire/modules/Markup/MarkupHTMLPurifier/htmlpurifier/standalone/HTMLPurifier/ConfigSchema/schema/HTML.Allowed.txt Maybe someone knows how to do this?
  24. I think, the others are talking about limiting the output of a field. This plugin only counts words/chars inside of CKEditor. @Pete: where did you found this..?
  25. new german updates for actual PW dev 2.4.15 (28 August 2014). Zip contains only updated/added files (in comparison to the default 2.4 lang pack). updated files: wire--modules--process--processfield--processfield-module.json wire--modules--process--processforgotpassword-module.json wire--modules--process--processmodule--processmodule-module.json wire--modules--process--processrole--processrole-module.json wire--modules--process--processtemplate--processtemplate-module.json wire--modules--process--processuser--processuser-module.json added files: wire--core--fieldselectorinfo-php.json wire--core--fieldtypemulti-php.json wire--core--process-php.json wire--core--sanitizer-php.json wire--modules--inputfield--inputfieldpagetitle--inputfieldpagetitle-module.json wire--modules--languagesupport--processlanguage-module.json pw-lang-de-dev-update.zip
