hmm, just continue this ideas... in processwire-weekly-11 Ryan explained something about the new default RTE. Maybe making something like Trumbowyg (of course must be extended a little bit) as default RTE? Small, clean, fast. The both big RTE's (CKEditor and TinyMCE) can be installed (and maintained) as separate modules as usual.

@ryan while doing translations I found some small "gaps". Maybe you can close them? under 'access/user/name-of-user' the folllowing heading and phrase is not translatable (found this phrase in /wire/core/install.sql, line 194) under 'access/roles/name-of-user' the heading "Permissions" is not translatable =========================== under settings/templates we have a column for the "date of change". Maybe it's possible to make the translation strings more flexible? These can be found in wire/core/Functions.php. Example: en --> 2 days ago de --> 2 Tagen vor es --> 2 dias hace must be other word order: de --> vor 2 Tagen es --> hace 2 dias

My reason to work with PW (formerly with MODX) is exactly because it gives me all the freedom to build my own site. I know HTML, CSS, semantics etc. Therefore I absolutely have no need for such click and play systems like Droomlapress. So I hope, PW will stay on the same route like nowadays. BTW: this discussion now has nothing to do with the topic "ProcessWire on the web"? Better moving this posts in an new thread, maybe under "Wishlist"?

new german updates for actual PW dev 2.4.9 (28 July 2014). found this about internet bs (quote from this site) seems to be a nice company... They reside on the sunny side (Bahamas). Try this e-mail: abuse@internet.bs More to read about them BTW: please place such posts under dev or pub. This is no PW topic.

new german updates for actual PW dev 2.4.7 (11 July 2014). Zip contains only updated/added files (in comparison to the default 2.4 lang pack). updated files: wire--modules--fieldtype--fieldtypepagetable-module.json wire--modules--inputfield--inputfieldselector--inputfieldselector-module.json wire--modules--process--processmodule--processmodule-module.json pw-lang-de-dev-update.zip

PW dev 2.4.7: in InputfieldSelector.module in line 657 missing _x(... 'adjust' => $this->_x('Adjustments', 'optgroup-label'), also when using not actual version of DynamicRoles module, I got a 500 error after update. I removed the module manually. Then I could reach the site. Afterwards installed the newest version of DynamicRoles module. Now it's ok.
-
yes, of course. Therefor I made it.
-
thanks teppo for starting this new "module". Looks nice. The main advantage of Trumbowyg is it's small size and clean gui. Also it use jquery like PW already does. For better integration in PW it needs some plugins like pwimage/pwlink in CKEditor? here is a german lang file for Trumbowyg: de.zip BTW: better we start a new thread under the modules section?

this RTE looks good. Small, modern and simple. Maybe one of the PW pros can build a new module??

AdminThemeModesta - New modest admin theme

the problem with theme switching seems to be fixed in dev 2.4.6. It works like expected. -
AdminThemeModesta - New modest admin theme
Manfred62 replied to nikola's topic in Themes and Profiles
Hi Nikola, some small style improvements. Be aware, all found in the dev (PW and theme). Under languages the file-size is only visible at hover (intended?). css: #content .container > form p { color: #2a3037; /* dark grey */ } when "no element is viewable" text is nearly invisible. See screenshot (text marked with mouse). <div class="container"> <p>Derzeit keine Elemente zum anzeigen.</p> .... /* css */ body { color: #f4f6f8; /* light grey */ ....... under modules/new the box around module class name is grey. Same under fields/input/visibility. See difference in screenshots. BTW: what about the style of TinyMCE? Is it possible to include RTE styling in the theme? -

hmm, since last update to 2.4.5 there are other odd things (e.g. theme switching). Could be the same reason? Maybe Ryan can take a look at this.

AdminThemeModesta - New modest admin theme

@Nikola: how can I translate the headings in the side-panel? Found the phrases in the main.inc. But that's not possible to translate? -
AdminThemeModesta - New modest admin theme
Manfred62 replied to nikola's topic in Themes and Profiles
I can confirm this workaround!! Now I also have the Modesta theme activated. Also you can have both themes installed. You only have to make a new search for modules, to refresh the theme change. For example: root gets Modesta theme, guest gets Default theme is also possible. -
very nice site. But take a look at the dropdown menus on the start-page. They disappear. The slider is 'killing' them. Tested with Firefox.

AdminThemeModesta - New modest admin theme
Manfred62 replied to nikola's topic in Themes and Profiles
Hi Nikola, sorry no chance. In every case I only get the old-style theme from /wire/templates-admin/. Also tried this theme in an gradually updated (2.4 -2.4.5) dev installation. There I don't even get the checkbox in the user-profile to select the theme? Can anyone confirm that Modesta is running on local Windows environment?
