While I think in most circumstances trimming is ok, in this particular case it is not ok. I want the file I like, not what PW thinks I like So I fixed it (hopefully) please try v1.7.4 The new version is great - thank you for the quick fix! 1
OllieMackJames Posted September 6, 2019 Posted September 6, 2019 I recently upgraded to latest pw version 3.0.139 now when I use the FileEditor and try to save something I get the following error: Ajax request failed: error Any ideas how to fix this? thanks
matjazp Posted September 7, 2019 Posted September 7, 2019 That error comes from ProcessFileEdit.js when file is saved. I'm testing on PW 3.0.140 and its saving. Any hints in browser dev console? Could you try reverting .htaccess file back to the working version?
kalimati Posted January 27, 2022 Posted January 27, 2022 I am getting the same error as OllieMackJames. Tried older versions of htaccess (from version 3.0.135) without success. Edited files don't save.Looking at the browser dev console helped. The problem was proper setup of httphosts in the config file.
eydun Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Thank you for building this module. I get this error on PHP 8.1
matjazp Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Thanks. You can comment this line. This module is still working, but need some love and could be simplified if required PHP version is bumped up. There is also a new version of file editor (with the same namespace) written by someone else (can't remember the name), I think it's actively maintained?
eydun Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 Thanks, that fixed it. Hope you find time to continue maintaining this excellent module ?
