Description

This module adds icons based on the file type uploaded. It also lets you change the columns, etc. You can watch the video for more details or download and install. To make it work (do not know why) you have to change any configuration setting and save.

Version

Alpha version (0.0.1).

Updated: 0.0.2

- Added Json name shorter, icons and columns.

Updated 0.0.3

- Config in columns

Updated 0.0.4

- Video and Audio extensions added.

Updated 0.0.5

- Fixed select files and drag to upload div position.

Updated 0.0.6

- Execution of the module only in the administration. What a fail!

Cool! I just wanted the alike functionality for image field. In the grid view I have not found a way to trash an image. This grid should do it. Does it work with file field only or can it work with images (preferably displaying thumbnails as icons)?

I'll update the brother of this module Alternative Grid Images to make it configurable. Thank you

Check out the image version, also from blad:

@Blad - great module! - wondering how hard it would be to make the icon classes and file extensions into a configurable table, so you could add stuff like mp3 audio icons, video files, and even have different icons for doc, or txt, etc..

It's not complicated, is a very simple module. I could expand it if I use other icons and not those of fontawesome.

When I have time I will update :) thanks for your opinion.

looks great! it seems you transformed into a module factory ;)

why are all the files deleted at 00:20 when you click on the first trash icon?

thanks for the video (again) - saves everybody of us the time for installing.

In processwire by default if you double click on the trash all the files are deleted. :) Thanks

It is compatible with 2.7?

Yes. It works with Processwire 2.7 and with the dev version 3.
