    Maybe the problem is connected with the php version. Xampp has php version 5.5.9 and my hosting uses PHP Version 5.4.25 As a test I changed my hosting to use the latest version it has which is PHP Version 5.5.9 and the problem is there as well now. So it seems the problem is maybe with php version

    I seem to have a strange problem with using image fields. The problem seems to be with processwire installed on xampp with windows. When I add images to an image field the field then loses image quality. The quality is also still reduced when included in a textarea. Also the poor image quality is still shown on the live page. If I click to view full size then the image is fine and clear. As a test I uploaded the same site with the poor images to my hosting and saw the images were still poor but when adding the same images again they were fine and showed clearly with no loss of quality. The issue seems to be my windows / xampp environment. I don't have any such issues with previous versions of processwire so this is just with the latest version. Does anyone have a clue what the issue can be?

    There is a lot of this going on recently in the UK. I know someone recently that had an almost identical call and got tricked into downloading some software so that the caller could 'fix the problem on their computer'. Luckily he called me on their other phone asking for advice while in the middle of this process and i put a stop to it before any real damage was done. Even the most street wise seemed to get conned.

    Is What is the point of restricting the use of a template for new pages if after the page is created any template can be assigned to it via edit > settings? Surely this is not the way it is supposed to work or am I missing something here?

    Yes I can see that now. I suppose the problem I am having then is why am I able to see all template options after I create a page under settings? The templates that cannot be used for new pages don't show up as an option when i first click to add a new page but once the page is created they are available as an option under settings. It seems the issue is not what i thought it was. It appears that the settings for templates don't work correctly once the page is created as all the templates are available to choose under settings once the page has been created even though they can't be used for new pages. I suppose once a page has been created then it is no longer a new page so in theory the restricted templates could be made available but is that the correct way this should work? Surely the template that cannot be used for new pages should still be restricted on the new pages created?

    I tried php version 5.4.25 and still the issue persists. Did you check out the processwire demo version? It appears to have the problem as well.

    Not sure if this is the same as it is just a demo version with maybe some restrictions but when i go to the processwiire demo version on the processwire skyscrappers site http://processwire.com/skyscrapers/admin/page/ The problem appears to be there as well. I click 'new' on skyscrappers and there is only the basic page option available under template on the add new page. If i then go to edit > settings i then see all available template options.

    yes Tried debug=true. No errors Downloaded fresh copy and installed and same problem. Very Strange Not sure what the problem is.

    php version 5.5.9 I have have it installed on my local windows machine using xampp. Also tested on other environments. Tested other php versions as well and still the same I can send you a link with login details for you to see.

    Hi I have processwire 2.4 installed. When i add a new page I noticed that the drop down under Templates only displays one option with no other templates available to choose from. If I then enter title and name and click save and go to settings then all template options are available. Has anyone else experienced this? I assume this is not normal behaviour. The previous version of processwire worked fine so I assume this is an issue with 2.4.

    I love Fireworks. It's a real shame adobe is letting it go. Tribaloid is developing EvolveUI an open source project as a responsive to adobe ending fireworks.     This is a really interesting subject. It's a while back since it was started by Soma. I would love to know if Soma is still using the same approach or found some other prefered way.

    I wasn't sure when i first saw the logo in that pinky colour on bitnami but now looking at it on twitter with the change in colour it looks good.

    Hi I sent an email to bitnami as well 4 hours ago and received more or less a similar reply I sent another one showing the tweets on twitter that apeisa posted that were far more from processwire then received this reply
