danysrour Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I have a hosting working on iis and it seems that plesk doesn't support friendly urls How to disable friendly urls on processwire
RyanJ Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I could be wrong, but after having a look at the .htaccess file, it looks like friendly urls are required with processwire.
apeisa Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 ModRewrite (or similar) is indeed a requirement. If I remember correctly some people on here forums have posted help on how to get PW running on iis.
adrian Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I wonder if this is of any help for you. It is about wordpress on Plesk/iis, but should work fine for PW http://smackwagondesign.com/permalink-for-wordpress-on-a-windowsplesk-server-%E2%80%93-iis-6-mod_rewrite-fixed/

But i found another solution... i am buying a unix hosting with a decent provider... Why? Because honestly pw is the best cms i ever worked with till now, i am a cms expert ... I am not dropping pw for stupid iis ... Long live Process wire 7
