Hi @Ermarcello and welcome to the forum! If it's only 10 hits a day per site, you could probably run both sites on an old Pi B and be fine - as long as all 20 hits didn't happen in the same few seconds.

Have you created a template in PW (with just a title field) and assigned query.php to it? If not, you'll need to do that and add the following to the top of query.php if you only want it to be called via ajax... if (!$config->ajax) { return; } There might be something else missing from your example - but I'm in a rush and those are the most obvious things. HTH -
Hi reinterpret and welcome to the PW forum! Sorry to hear of your troubles with migrating your site. Have you had a look at the tutorial on moving a site? It sounds to me like you might find Nico's tutorial on login problems useful too.

Though this isn't a PW project I thought I would take the opportunity to post an image of my PHP-based, redis backed, pick-and-pack software (I mentioned it here) that integrates with Amazon via their MWS API and is served via nginx running on one of the original 256mb Pi B models. The site is accessed in the warehouse from an Android tablet which allows me to move around the shelving to find the items really quickly and take care of printing off the address labels then packing and finally shipping the orders. If you've never seen what Amazon's seller central pick and pack list is like then I hope you can appreciate the difference given the example below (apologies as this is an old screenshot)...

I've now added clock-picker to the master branch and bumped the version number. Please see the opening post for more details.

I just pushed a new branch to the github repository that adds the clockpicker popup as seen in the screenshot above. If you want to try it simply use the files from the clockpicker branch. If all goes well with your testing I'll merge this change into the master branch and bump the version. Thanks!

@gebeer I'm starting to play with adding clockpicker (which I find really intuitive) to the inputfield. Here's a screenshot... ...what do you think? Of course, this is only valid for HH24MM format times.

I've been working part-time, for several months, on an administration and attendance tracking system for a local trampoline and gymnastics club where I also do a little coaching. Been trying to build this up incrementally in the form of re-usable modules and I have already released some of these (FieldtypeTime, markup crossfade & google calendar embed) but a couple of new fieldtypes and the major module - which handles club sessions, members, scheduling and attendance tracking - are still being tweaked. The system runs on the club intranet with the club administration being done via PW's admin interface and the homepage being displayed on the check-in kiosk at the front desk (a touch-enabled monitor in portrait orientation.) The athletes use the kiosk to check-in as they arrive and club information, signage and advertising can all be shown in the background on the kiosk thanks to the markup-crossfade module. Club staff can quickly and easily create new slides in the kiosk display sequence or modify what's already there (slides for fees-due, car blockages, session times etc) as well as seeing who is in attendance and for what. I don't yet have permission to post full screenshots of the athletes in public places (remember this is all internal to the club) but once I get permission I'll do a write-up of the site. In the meantime here's a few teasers. Firstly, on the check-in kiosk... ...and some from the back-end...

@ivanr Thank you for testing and sending me video results. I'll try getting the C1 to run chromium in kiosk mode as suggested by LostKobrakai and see if I can drive it all from a touch screen monitor as well. @LostKobrakai Thanks for the tip.

Ok, so I received the C1 and have just been trying it out on my demo site after performing a system update. Chromium seems pretty stable and responsive but Firefox performs really poorly for a few seconds and then crashes. Not too impressed with FF on this platform and I'd prefer to run FF as there is a kiosk-mode extension for it that I wish to use in my intended application. On the plus side, this cheap, tiny form-factor and low power machine is capable of running several low-demand desktop apps with a good response time and is way more usable as a desktop platform than the Pi B was. Now looking forward to seeing your results for the Pi2 - particularly in Firefox.

Could any of you Pi2-owners-to-be please let me know how my demo site renders once you get your Pi2s up and running? I've gone with the C1 (for now) but I like the appeal of the Pi2 as it uses a full-size HDMI socket and the SW support sounds better. Thanks in advance if you can do this.

Ah, I ordered a C1 about an hour before I saw the first Pi2 news coming in on the RSS feed from hackaday. No matter, I'll try the C1 for this application as my payment's gone through.

Looks lovely Gayan. You could create a demo for this over on lightning.pw - the guys over there do a free deal for free modules and I think that probably includes site profiles too! You might have to install this manually though, I don't think it lets you upload a site profile as part of the site creation process - but I may be wrong. Regardless, thank you for this profile!

@jerry, @ivanr Thank you for your posts. If possible, could you let me know what your C1 is like when viewing this web page in Chromium or Chrome or FireFox? (That page is a demo of one of my modules running on PW.) I have a need for a low-power PC to drive a kiosk running a browser set to permanently display digital signage produced by my module and wonder if the C1 can handle the rendering needs. Thank you!

@ivanr I would be interested in the details of your C1 configuration as I'm very tempted to try one of these out (there are some things for which the Pi just isn't powerful enough) I am torn between the C1 and low-end intel NUCs which also perform really well and have a reasonably low power usage (last one I tried was ~14watt) and possibly better software support from linux packages as they don't use the Arm architecture, though their price is somewhat higher.

@ivanr That's interesting. I run our Amazon-integrated book-sale pick-n-pack system on a raspberry pi running as a headless server but with a few differences to your setup. Firstly, I use nginx instead of Apache. Secondly, it doesn't use PW although it is written in PHP and thirdly it uses redis as the DB instead of a relational DB. I also print out all the address labels using a thermal label printer that was a nightmare to get working on the pi. Thanks for the pointer to the Odroid C1 (UK link)... looks interesting. Am I right in thinking it's about a 10watt machine?
