Soma Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 most of the time I end up wearing my earbuds for two hours, but forget to turn any music on Omg that happens to me too exactly.. Thought this would be only me. But I gues we are all humans more or less 2
Joss Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Possibly because I am a sound engineer by original trade, I really don't like stuffing things in my ears. But then, in my "office" I do have a couple of grands worth of speakers and several sets of professional studio headphones (You can tell they are pro, because they are twice the quality and halt the price of the domestic equivalent. Hardly trendy though.)
horst Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/the21stcenturyblues Call me modest...... ? --> http://dict.leo.org/?search=modest Aha! - Call me too. @Joss: I like the music and also the photography.

MatthewSchenker Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Greetings Everyone, Not a complete list, but some of my favorites while working (or other times): - Andrew Bird - Nick Drake - Keren Ann - Leonard Cohen - Nick Cave - Tom Waits - Beth Orton - Bach's solo cello / sonatas & partitas for violin - Beethoven's late string quartets By the way, I have a Sonos system, which I will endorse strongly for anyone who loves music! Check it out here -> http://www.sonos.com/ Thanks, Matthew 1

Joss Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 don't want to be to nosey, ... but what are the other "other two words" ? Three, actually. Das ist cool... I had a very laid back German Colleague years ago, with a slightly strange high pitched voice. His English was perfekt, but every time he like something he would nod slowly and say "Das is cool... sehr cool...ya?" It used to send the German voice overs we worked with into fits of laughter, which he found very puzzling. He went back to Germany about ten years ago - no idea what they thought of him on his return!
panictree Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Normally just http://mvsic.net because i'm a coworker on this site/network. Very cool! 1
horst Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Three, actually. teppo Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Interesting topic.. and mvsic.net looks totally cool, by the way! My current coding playlist is a combination of ZZ Top (songs from La Futura mostly), and Maximum The Hormone. Other than that, (a 25 minute dark ambient track by Norwegian black metal artist Burzum) is one of my all-time favorites. This one really helps when trying to get into a flow state. 2
Joss Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 @Horst Now, he swore to me that Cool was a German word and we and the Americans had stolen it!! 1
