  1. Hi, Sure this gets asked alot but I was wondering if people have any recommended services that they run PW on. Please provide your recommendations for: Shared VPS Self hosted servers PaaS / SaaS I used to recommended Lcn.com but they no longer have a VPS which satisfies the PW minimum requirements so I cant use all the new goodness in the latest releases.
  2. Anyone else have any issues with MySQL falling over itself on a shared server? The site has lots of bigs images but it shouldnt crash before rendering the html..? also it has over 200 news items, would that make much of a difference (only showing max 20 per page in the news section)

  8. I use the last example a lot in my work if the site is simple enough (only the content area changes and there nav stay and hold state). For a more complex site you may want to write some more logic but I try to keep Ajax and static page templates request as close as possible so as not to do double the work.

Hey, Been using this starter theme for a little while now and thought I'd open it up on github - https://github.com/benbyford/bb-starter It has all my favourite modules installed, .less, some hany .js libraries and a set of blog templates for a simple news / blog setup.   17. Hi, Starting to see alot more errors running PW on php 5.3.3 mainly to do with modules. I am looking to update my VPS soon and was wondering if there was a recommended version e.g. php 5.3.x, 5.4.x, 5.5.x etc Thanks

  21. Having a similar issue but only getting this error: This is intentionally invalid image data. sizzle_02_o.450x0.jpg - not a recognized image Is this again to do with RAM? If so is there any way of flushing these files and trying again? Thanks!
