Solved:admin modules 404 after upgrade

[Macrura]

After upgrading a site to 2.5, i can no longer access the admin modules page, i get redirected to a 404 page.

I'm not really sure how to fix this, and wondering if anyone has some tips or ideas where to start...

one idea i had was to export the whole site with the site profile export and then install on a clean 2.5, hoping that would sort out whatever snafu has occurred..

Edit: was being caused by the page edit per role module...
