Hi everyone MediaHub 1.22.0 out and features... Added: 3 new Admin translations I've added Dutch, Polish and French admin translations. Same coverage as the existing German (and English) strings. Approx 1000+ each contained in languages/nl.csv, languages/pl.csv, languages/fr.csv. Taking requests for other translations too. Added: Inputfield Actions MediaHub fields now have an Actions button that opens a dropdown. Sitting beside the existing Crop, Focus and Edit options, Actions is built as an extensible shell for field-level actions with more capabilities in progress for future releases. Added: Copy to sibling field Illustrating what the new Actions menu is for, our first Action is Copy to Field. Copy to field lists sibling MediaHub fields you can send an asset to. Real handy when you have multiple MH input fields on a page and might need to inject a sibling field with an asset from another field. And of course, the beauty of this is also that it doesn't duplicate the underlying MediaHub asset. Copying honours the target sibling fields maxItems, skips duplicates, clears single-mode fields first, and copies per-field alt/tags meta when available. Changed: Fewer auto-generated variations on MediaHub fields Each image on a field card now creates two ProcessWire size variations (260w card thumb + 800w preview/lightbox) instead of four. Lightbox and retina srcset reuse the 800px file rather than generating separate 900px and 520px copies. Thanks for reading. Licence holders can download from the account area. First up, a massive thanks to Ryan, the developers and community on this great CMS. We have spent the last 4 weeks looking at the best option for a client and it looks like ProcessWire will be the choice. We ignored the top 3 (Drupal, Joomla, WordPress) but spent a lot of time with Grav, Hugo, Concrete5, October and PimCore before we arrived here. I am not saying some of these are not great as well, but sometimes the best CMS is the one that matches your needs the most. I can't tell you how much of a pleasure it was to find your CMS and community So, one of the things we have seen that our client likes a lot is how many other systems handle Image and Asset Library. They like to be able to upload many 1000's of images, PDF's that get used on many different Pages. Content Editors can quickly find images from a tree/directory/tag structure and Drag and Drop over onto their pages. My question is anything like this on the roadmap ? If not, then does anyone in the community have a pointers or ideas on best practise to implement this ( a module? ) or is it something ( a use case ) that does not sit well with the way Processwire wants to be architected? Again, fantastic work folks, we are really enjoying Processwire and looking forward to looking at the ProDrafts & ProForms modules as well in a few weeks.
