szabesz
Nice work, thanks for the showcase. Are you aware of "Lorem ipsum..." still being used on stellardebating.nicegrp.com pages?
benbyf
Yep fully aware. Client's dragging their feet to add content.

maxf5
Cool sites, Ben. Here is a little bug on bigger screens:
dragan
I wonder why on smaller screens @ http://stellardebating.nicegrp.com/ you'll get to see the Twitter feed first, and then the main content? Is that on purpose? Don't you want to change the order of the content so the most important stuff is always seen first? On the blacksmith site, you can see PHP code not being rendered: <meta name="keywords" content="echo $homepage->keywords;">
benbyf
Thanks gang, this is why i love this forum. @maxf5 not really a bug, but maybe could be improved (peril of only testing on a laptop ). @dragan totally right, i might kill the twitter on mobile and thanks for the php spot. Christophe
For http://artistblacksmith.org.uk/, there is something that I see on the homepage with Chromium and Opera, but not with Firefox and Vivaldi: the 3 columns of (linked) images appear starting from the left but then the second one disappears, and just after the third one. They only appear again for +- 1 second when the mouse is over one of the 3 columns, then only the image's gray/grey background and title stay when the mouse is over them - if it's on the second or third column. I haven't looked at the other pages yet. Edit: on the Linux platform at least. Edited November 9, 2017 by Christophe Added information
benbyf
@Christophe thats madness, not seen this issue before. Seems Opera and Chromium (though only tested on Opera), is having a problem with css column-count. Any experience with this as can't rectify on quick test. psy
Hi @maxf5 See the kink in the border on larger screens more as a quirk than a bug . Have used the same technique on sites including my own. Kinda like it.
Christophe
Please try with backface-visibility: hidden added to .grid {...}. (For my browsers, there is no need to use the -webkit- version, but you could use both.) I haven't tested it in IE or Edge. Edit: you have 528 posts and 528 likes :).
