  1. Hello! Please tell me how to install pixel Facebook on the site? Link to the installation module or / and connection instructions.
  2. Hello, this module can publish content of a Processwire page on a Facebook page, triggered by saving the Processwire page. To set it up, configure the module with a Facebook app ID, secret and a Page ID. Following is additional configuration on Facebook for developers: Minimum Required Facebook App configuration: on Settings -> Basics, provide the App Domains, provide the Site URL, on Settings -> Advanced, set the API version (has been tested up to v3.3), add Product: Facebook Login, on Facebook Login -> Settings, s
  3. Has anyone had any recent experience displaying Facebook posts using the Facebook PHP SDK? I find the Facebook documentation to be confusing and I'm coming up short in finding recent information and code examples online. Any help is appreciated.
  4. Good morning folks. I've been going around in circles since last week on this one. I've got caching turned off on my site, but, wondering if there is an extra step I need to take when publishing a page when using FacBook's social plugin? I've got a template for my news articles with FaceBook's social share plugin embedded. After publishing the page, going to the article on the front end on the site, and clicking share, the share dialog in many cases will have the right page content but frequently it comes up with my custom 404 page. FaceBook must be pinging back, in order to server up th
  5. Hi folks, Bit of an odd one... I'm adding some meta tags for Facebook and Twitter to the head.inc file and I'm trying to make the output per tag as global as possible. These are the tags I have so far: <meta property="og:title" content="<?php echo $page->title; ?>" /> <meta property="og:image" content="" /> <meta property="og:url" content="<?php echo $page->url; ?>" /> <meta property="og:description" content="" /> <meta name="twitter:url" content="<?php echo $page->url; ?>"> <meta name="twitter:title" content="<?php echo $page
  6. I don't always want to bother registering users, I just want them to be able to log in. I'm not alone because there are a number of other threads about OAuth, none of which mentions Opauth. Opauth is a lean, non-opinionated, modular PHP thingy. It has 18 providers listed on their page, some of which are built-in, some are 3rd-party. Their website itself is an example, and it's on github as well. It's lean: it doesn't need the provider SDKs, it implements only what it needs in the auth modules. It's non-opinionated: you give your user a link to /auth/facebook, and then you are waiting for
  7. Hi, I have shown PW to a collegue of mine and now he is thinking about to use it for his website. Actually he sorts his needs, and there is one question: Has anybody already written (short) posts / texts in PW and pushed them to facebooks timeline? He don't like "work" in FB and pull that stuff into PW (what is already described here in forums). He would like it the other way round.
  8. Lately I’ve been building a little script for a local journalist who manages a open Google Docs spreadsheet where Swiss journalists can enter there social media data like Twitter names etc. The script updates a Twitter list with the collected Twitter names in the spreadsheet, means it gets the document feed through Google Docs API and updates the list through Twitter API. Long story short I’ve been dealing with the oauth authentication mechanism. I started thinking about creating a module for PW to connect user accounts with oauth providers like Twitter. Could be helpful in more community focu
  9. Hello, I am in the early evaluation stage for PW. Coming from the Drupal 7 world and not being a software developer but coming from the design-side, these are my main goals for a new project: design ...is everything: The normal webpages need to be as flexible as possible to design whereas is ok in the community area to have a more standard layout. PW is PERFECT for me, Drupal has limits (even with modules), a main reason for my unhappiness (and yes, I know how to make my own templates) Organization:I am making a brochure style Webpage, PW is perfect here. (Drupal plays it's role when havi
