If you look at the release names of Debian or Ubuntu linux distributions, I don't think they have a "target audience", per se. They just "are" names that are assigned.

That's a good point... but if you want a link to a better song - in You Can Call Me Al, Paul Simon sings about a man walking down the street who "sees angels in the architecture"

I've never watched Toy Story, but I was always wondering what Debian will do if they run out of characters to name the release after …

Personally, I don't really care for target audiences or if they'll find code names appealing or off-putting. Code names IMHO are for users and developers, not for suits. I don't think anyone has ever considered not using a Debian server because the OS is called “Wheezy”.

I do, however, think that this should ultimately be Ryan's call.
