adrian
Well, now it's official - I've been outsmarted by a machine - if it can solve all Google reCAPTCHAs then it is one up on me. I am lucky to still have much better than 20/20 vision - I can't imagine how someone with failing eyesight manages with some of reCAPTCHA's concoctions! I hope this means that captchas will die a quick death!
Joe
Yes adrian, great! I´ve rarely been able to solve those captchas myself on the first attempt. And also very cool: in a few years I can get a freeware version of this software, have it learn PHP and how to use Processwire and some artistic notions about web design and I can retire! ... eh.. be retired?! As it says in the article: Although still many years away, the commercial applications of RCN will have broad implications for robotics, medical image analysis, image and video search, and many other fields. Beluga
Captchas are bad user experience anyways.. use a blacklist like http://stopforumspam.com/
teppo
Just for the record: I'll consider using a captcha, blacklist etc. once honeypots (regular or reverse) start failing me. So far they've provided better results than any other solution -- and all that without breaking UX.
Soma
Funny they have a captcha on their own contact form...
