Nico Knoll
Today I want to present my personal website with a new design and my tumblr posts (in "Blog" section) directly imported into ProcessWire: Nico.is What do you think?
onjegolders
Love it! Obviously as you made it I love the modern feel and type and the humour and quality touches that you've applied. I also quite like the minimalist "contact" page There's a few image links down but guess you're working on them. Great work Nico, comme d'hab.
diogo
Love it Nico! My favorite is the footer
arjen
Lovely footer indeed. But I think the footer didn't change Nice work Nico!
Nico Knoll
No, I liked the footer in the last version of my site so it was allowed to stay
onjegolders
I think a good word for this site is "engaging" and I think that's a very important part of any website.
cmscritic
The social timeline feature is pretty cool. How'd you pull that off?
Nico Knoll
My first idea was to directly use the webservice APIs via cronjob. But then I remembered IFTTT.com and now everytime something happens on a social network IFTTT will send an E-Mail to social@nico.is and this IMAP inbox is automatically checked and processed via cronjob so that for every email a page in my pw installation will be created and the mail will be deleted.

MadeMyDay
@Nico: The PW-image seems to be missing: http://nico.is/site/assets/files/1013/depro1.jpg
Nico Knoll
You're right. I have to renew the references and projects anyway
teppo
Minor glitch (if you can even call it that): your 404 page is a bit unhelpful. Had an old link to /de/, which ended up serving a blank page and confusing the heck out of poor little me. Site itself is just fabulous
Nico Knoll
@teppo: Okay, I'll think about something funny I could put on this site
