leemchildress Posted March 26 Posted March 26 Greetings. I'm a Processwire newbie so bare with me, but so far I really am happy. However, try as I may I cannot figure out how to apply permissions on a per page basis. I work for local government and am redesigning our website. Lets so I have a content template, and in that tree is various departments. For example, the Auditor's office should only be able to edit their branch, and same for the other departments, but all I see it template permissions allowing everyone to have access to everyone's data. What am I missing?
elabx Posted March 26 Posted March 26 I think for this specific "hierarchy" you might benefit from looking at AdminRestrictBranch and if it doesn't exactly fit your needs you'll get some ideas for hooks within it's code, although I understand you are new to ProcessWire but from the looks of your project you're in for a ride! Keep in the touch and welcome to the forums! So you might benefit from having various roles that fit the "branch" where you want to work on. 2
leemchildress Posted March 26 Author Posted March 26 Thank you for the welcome. I had seen, and tried, AdminRestrictBranch, but I could not get it to install on version 3.0.244. I'll fiddle around with it or write a custom script. Thanks again elabx.
