FrancisChung Posted July 31, 2018 Posted July 31, 2018 50% off for the next 38 hours. I'm on my 3rd year now with JetBrains but it's the first time I've seen them gone on sale. Best value for buck IMHO in the market for dev tools, especially if you use a variety of languages and environments.https://www.jetbrains.com/store/?fromMenu#edition=personal 5
zoeck Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Somebody using PHPStorm for Processwire programming ?? I am currently using Sublime Text 3 and have now taken a look at VisualStudio. Can PHPStorm do more than VSCode?

rick Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I've been using phpstorm since November last year solely on processwire projects. The issues I have are not related to processwire but the phpstorm interface in general. I also have used vscode and other code editors with processwire projects. To be honest, I don't think phpstorm is worth the price. It is far too annoying for the benefit of intellisense than vscode, for example. 1 1

That's exactly what I thought when I tried the trial version... I think I will switch from Sublime to VSCode...
tpr Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I liked PhpStorm, used for about 3 years, both at work and at home. It was fast and helped me a lot writing better code. Now I'm switching to VSCode too because I'm doing less PHP nowadays and it seems to fit my expectations.
horst Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I'm very happy with PhpEd and a lot of its features. Also I possibly don't use 50% percent of them. ?
