sweet! unfortunately they perform when people of my age are in bed sleeping ...   did you also create the logo? some remarks anyway:

the sentence on the front page isn't complete: "Balkantronika ist Balkan-Elektro-Produzenten und DJ-Team aus Berlin." - "ein" is missing and a hyphen after Produzenten-

the music stops and has to be restarted from the beginning when you change to another page.

i find source sans pro a bit to "brav" for the site - and the cool guys

but... why do you scale the images down? The main img has 1000px vs. 630px.

The logo in header has 960px vs. 240px. Also the logo could be made as sprite.

So you prevent the short load on first hover and save one http request.

I'm assuming so that the images look sharp on high DPI displays (aka Retina displays). We do the same thing on processwire.com with several images where it counts, doubling the resolution and scaling down. Though not more than double. So a 960px to 240px would be more than necessary for any displays that I'm aware of.

Well it's more like that in first scratches the logo and the other image were much bigger. And in this final state I thought it wouldn't be that bad if the website would still use this big images like ryan said for retina devices.
