Make writable by php

How do I make a folder writeable by PHP? Modules won't load bc one of my directories is not writable in php

It tells you what parts of your site should have what permissions.

chmod and chown are the commands you are looking for, but depending on your website you can probably adjust these through some sort of graphical user interface as well.
