  1. Are URL segments indexable & search engine optimizable? Site-mappable? With or without SEO meta tags rendered in the native site template rendering the URL segment, drawing page data from a separate PW installation? if only rendering when the urlSegment1 matches the name of a page of a specified template with the same parent? I don't know how to test this locally. Thank you.
  2. Hi, i have a template with allowed urlSegments. No other restrictions in the template. My test template is simple. Just trying to get and echo the url segment. But the problem is, if I use _ (or - or .) together with uppercase characters, my template file is never processed. The 404 redirect happens before. this works: /url/aa_aa (or /url/aa-aa) but these fail, also with - and . /url/Aa_aa /url/aA_aa /url/aa_Aa /url/aa_aA So it doesn't matter where the uppercase character is. <?php namespace ProcessWire; if($input->urlSegment1) { echo $input->urlSegment1 } Processwire version 3.0.210 with Php 8.2 $config->maxUrlSegments = 8; $config->pageNameCharset = 'UTF8'; $config->pageNameWhitelist = '-_.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789æåäßöüđжхцчшщюяàáâèéëêěìíïîõòóôøùúûůñçčćďĺľńňŕřšťýžабвгдеёзийклмнопрстуфыэęąśłżź-FISEN'; My site is multilingual and this might have something to do with that. In my 404 logs i get something like this: 2023-03-03 12:35:19 41 /url/aa-aA page doesn't exist [IP: 127.xxx.xxx.xxx] [UA: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/110.0.0.0 Safari/537.36] 2023-03-03 12:35:24 41 /fi/url/aa-aA page doesn't exist [IP: 127.xxx.xxx.xxx] [UA: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/110.0.0.0 Safari/537.36] Any help appreciated. We actually have this bug in production at the moment...
  3. Hello, I am running ProcessWire 3.0.165 but $input->urlSegmentLast or $input->urlSegment(-1) does not work as expected. Or do I something wrong? Thank you.
  4. Hello, I'm trying to paginate results that may have Url Segments and I want to modify the Base Url. How do I accomplish this within renderPager? I found docs here: https://processwire.com/api/ref/markup-pager-nav/render/, but it hasn't pointed me in the right direction. $pager->setBaseUrl(string $url); echo "<div id='pagination' class='uk-container uk-container-medium uk-margin-large-top'>"; echo $matches->renderPager(array( 'nextItemLabel' => "Next", 'previousItemLabel' => "Prev", 'currrentItemClass' => "uk-active", 'listMarkup' => "<ul class='row uk-flex-right'>{out}</ul>", 'itemMarkup' => "<li class='{class}'>{out}</li>", 'linkMarkup' => "<a href='{url}' class='uk-button uk-background-secondary'><span class=''>{out}</span></a>", )); echo "</div>"; Or, does anyone know of a better option?
  5. i have a event-page with a table. first column in this table is page-reference-field how can i find out if a urlSegment matches one of the rows having the same page-reference-field (page-id)? // all guests $allguests = new pageArray(); foreach($page->event_guests_table as $event_guests_table_row) { $allguests->prepend($event_table_row->guest); } // echo allguests would output: 1101|1102|1103|… // domain.tld/event/1101/ // show content if guest is in the table or redirect if($input->urlSegment1 ~= $allguests ) { // show content } else { // redirect } which selector operator do i have to use? the one above does not work
  6. Hi, i'm working on a website with some articles and categories. The structure is something like this: Home +Articles --First Article --Second Article +Categories --Category1 --Category2 I'm using the categories page as a field to categorize the articles and create the sections of the general navigation (home / category1 / category2). Currently the URL for a section looks like example.com/categories/category1/ and i want something like: example.com/category1/ Any Ideas? Thanks!
