mr-fan Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 Working with Piwik for some years - in fact it's a bit less fancy and smooth but it works good so far and shows all needed.....and like LostKobrakai wrote it is in german better to rely on things you've the full control. Updates went smooth - like in PW 1.backup db 2. click update 3. ready... Some of my Clients get a separate login and are satisfied with the informations. Macrura Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 the only thing worth mentioning with Piwik is that since it is self hosted, if you have some other sites using it (i have a lot of sites all using the same piwik install), sometimes i have noticed a delayed page load on some sites while it waits for the piwik server to respond; maybe there is a way for me to configure this better, but i would guess that if you are going to use piwik as a personal analytics server, to have it somewhere on the cloud to avoid loading delays on the referencing sites..
