pwired Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Hi, Maybe a silly question but could not find the answer anywhere. Is it possible that more people simultaneously work on the admin \ backend ? Let´s say 3 or 4 people login and all simultaneously edit, configure and do things inside the admin \ backend. Is it possible that this can crash something ? Thanks
adrian Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Absolutely possible and no problems! One thing you might want to check out is Soma's Soft Lock: http://modules.processwire.com/modules/page-edit-soft-lock/ This warns (or optionally prevents) users from editing the same page at the same time which could otherwise result in data loss. EDIT: You might have issues with multiple superusers changing field/template config settings. 1
Nico Knoll Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Some additional support for this is also on the roadmap for 2.6+: "JS session monitoring to handle multiple users editing the same page. "
