Hi,

On the demo page it mentions the 'Skyscrapers' source code is available in the download area. I am hoping this means the page templates to take a look through. Maybe I am blind but i can't find it?

thanks

Alex

But if you want the skyscrapers profile for 2.0, just drop me an email and I'll send it to you. The template files are largely the same, but 2.0 is now an old version, so not as useful to have the profile in that version anymore. Still, I've got it if you want it.

I'd love to see the set, also. I think seeing how they go together would go a long way in showing those of us who are new to PW how it works. Without examples, I'm lost.

I have to wonder if others who've been with this project a while started with that set as examples?

Yes, the example site that comes with the installation covers the basics pretty wel. The Processwire website contains many examples as wel (check out the API section).

And of course you have this forum with many friendly users who will answer most (if not all) of your questions.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think most of us started with just the basic install.

There are a few important things to read if you haven't already - the major one is the templates section on this page which will tell you how to actually output the content you're adding to the admin area into your template files when a page is loaded in the browser: http://processwire.com/api/templates/'>http://processwire.com/api/templates/

Assuming you haven't read it already, this entire section is worth reading: http://processwire.com/api/

Yeah, that keeps being referenced when I ask questions. I *have* read it, several times in fact, long before I ever considering asking for help in the forum.
