That filter applied to the photos upon hover is intriguing! It makes the photos jump a little bit though. And under "Projects" one the top right photo is a different height than the rest. But love the classy and vintage style!

I think the only thing that might enhance the user experience is to perhaps hide the images until they are fully loaded to avoid the "little-by-little" loading.

Just a personal preference though.
