jensweigel Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Hi there Im currently searching for a solution to add images to the CKEditor with captions. There is a solution for the CKEditor. But it isent working with the pw images. I can copy the URl of the images. But it's nont very comfortable. Does anybody has a solution? Greetings Jens
jensweigel Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 Sorry little update: the image2 Plugin is not working becaus figure and figcaption are striped away by the ACF restriction. But figure[*](*)figcaption[*](*) is set for allowd content.
pwired Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Since ProcessWire 2.5 a description field which also provides multi language support is included in the core. And there is this module:http://modules.processwire.com/modules/image-extra/
jensweigel Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 But the description field is used for the alt-attribute. I need a real image caption inside the CKEditor. Does ImageExtra place the caption inside the CKEditor? Like this: http://ckeditor.com/ckeditor_4.3_beta/samples/plugins/image2/image2.html
adrian Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 What you are looking for is available in PW 2.5.22 https://processwire.com/blog/posts/processwire-core-and-profields-updates-2.5.22/#image-caption-support-in-the-rich-text-editor
