Form Template Processor, adding captcha/recaptcha/other captcha solution and custom HTML markup output

Is there a way to add a captcha solution to the Form Template Processor module?

Also, is it possible to change the HTML output on the form frontend without editing the module directly?

It's possible, but you have to script it your self. I do think captcha is not a good solution it's a problem on it's own. ( many times I can't read them and always can't stand them ) And i'm not alone in thinking this.

Better to use a "honeypot" with javascript.

Or write a simple turing test.

(I don't want to be rude here, but I found a nice infographic that I want to show)

Agreed, those hard text captchas are frustrating but are not the only ones, there are also ones like

math, questions, pics, puzzles, etc. Easy for humans, even children, but almost impossible for bots.

@Martijn Geerts, the new versionof google recaptcha has improvement in user experience. With version 2 the user don't need to solve captcha, just click on checkbox.

Best regards.

But only if everything goes well. I've seen this new recaptcha thing multiple times, but only once or twice was it the fancy checkbox. The other times it did fallback to identifying house numbers for google maps (which in itself, while clever, feels kinda exploiting for users).
