Marty Walker Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Hi everyone, Long time no post. I'm trying to get HannaCode setup with a form from Mailchimp. When I try I get a server error 403 and it doesn't matter if I set it up as HTML/JS or PHP. Screengrab of the code attached. Running PW2.6.1, PHP 5.6.21 <!-- Begin MailChimp Signup Form --> <link href="//cdn-images.mailchimp.com/embedcode/classic-10_7.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> <style type="text/css"> #mc_embed_signup{background:#fff; clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; } /* Add your own MailChimp form style overrides in your site stylesheet or in this style block. We recommend moving this block and the preceding CSS link to the HEAD of your HTML file. */ </style> <div id="mc_embed_signup"> <form action="//blahblah.us8.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=1234&id=1234" method="post" id="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" name="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" class="validate" target="_blank" novalidate> <div id="mc_embed_signup_scroll"> <div class="indicates-required"><span class="asterisk">*</span> indicates required</div> <div class="mc-field-group"> <label for="mce-EMAIL">Email Address <span class="asterisk">*</span> </label> <input type="email" value="" name="EMAIL" class="required email" id="mce-EMAIL"> </div> <div class="mc-field-group"> <label for="mce-FNAME">First Name </label> <input type="text" value="" name="FNAME" class="" id="mce-FNAME"> </div> <div id="mce-responses" class="clear"> <div class="response" id="mce-error-response" style="display:none"></div> <div class="response" id="mce-success-response" style="display:none"></div> </div> <!-- real people should not fill this in and expect good things - do not remove this or risk form bot signups--> <div style="position: absolute; left: -5000px;" aria-hidden="true"><input type="text" name="b_67374670051f55f34d9e9d1c6_063582bb26" tabindex="-1" value=""></div> <div class="clear"><input type="submit" value="Subscribe" name="subscribe" id="mc-embedded-subscribe" class="button"></div> </div> </form> </div> <!--End mc_embed_signup--> Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Maybe they are not important - I am not a MailChimp user so not sure on this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

adrian Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 I just checked your code here in Hanna's Test code option and it worked fine. I got myself my own form action link, but otherwise used your code. I used the text/html option. Sorry not much help I guess 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Marty Walker Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share Posted August 30, 2016 I might upgrade PW then. Wondering if it also might be a Litespeed server gremlin. Cheers mate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Robin S Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 1 hour ago, Marty Walker said: Wondering if it also might be a Litespeed server gremlin. On my shared hosting the use of Hanna Code tends to trigger a false positive in mod_security (which throws 403s and does other odd things that are a PITA to debug). Therefore I now routinely disable mod_security in my accounts. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
