I have a problem and I don't understand. I have a profield table with different fields and a select field. I did like it's instructed and put "value=label". But when I'm trying to output the select field with var_dump (to debug), it's indicated that the field is a string that contains the value. Why is it a string ? when I try myselectfield->value or label or title I have an error saying I'm trying to get a property on a non-object ... Anyone ?

In the Doc it says: I have an options field (options_colors) configured like this: I want to have a query returning only pages with the VALUE 'red'. This is a query that works: $newsentries = $pages->find('template=news-entry,options_colors=number1,sort=-created,limit=16'); this is a query which does not work $newsentries = $pages->find('template=news-entry,options_colors=red,sort=-created,limit=16'); How do I query for 'red' instead of the title for the value?

I have option fieldtype with 4 elements. Many pages has this field type. On another page i want to be able to select items from pages where this option fieldtype presents using asm select. And it would be easier that when i need to select page i'll see not only {title} but better {title}-{option.title}. So here what i got: Manager name - <ul><li>option selected</li></ul>. That's no got. And the question as i see is how to remove any html tag from cutom output label format for option fieldtype. Thanks a lot. Here is screenshots to better understand

Hi I have a question about the "Name format for children" option for Templates. This option only shows up when i allow 1 single template under the "allowed templates" option. The Scenario: I have a template called "activity", the activity template can have or it is allowed only to have 4 template types as children: date, cast, image and video. My Problem is that i want that only the page name of the date pages are genereated automatically with the "Name format for children". But this option is only working when i allow only 1 template as children. How can I achieve, that the "Name format for children" works also when its allowed more than 1 children.
