  1. Great module. If only there was a way to make it handle links for multi-language sites.
  2. Thanks @Zeka. It’s not exactly what I intended, but it gives me an idea how I could get what I want without much effort. Thanks a lot.
  3. Is it possible to prepopulate a page field with a dynamic value, using a selector or something similar, instead of a static default value? I’m just curious. It’s not super important, as you can see below. It would just add a little more convenience. My use case: In a blog project I have pages with the template “author” which are used to store information about the blog’s authors. Some of these authors have ProcessWire user accounts – but not all of them. This separation is intended because it doesn’t make sense to create a user account for a one-time guest author who shouldn’t enter his article into the CMS by himself. If an author has a ProcessWire user account, this connection can be set via a page field on the author page. In the “article” template there is a page field to choose the blog article’s author from. Since this is a required field, I can add static default value to its configuration. But what I’d like to provide for convenience: If a user creates a new blog article, the author field should be prepopulated with “his” author page, i. e. the author page which matches something like “template=author, corresponding_user={$user->id}”. This is not achievable with the static default value configuration option of the page field.
  4. I know this is possible. And I also considered using a similar solution in such cases. But … That’s exactly what I don’t want. I don’t want to sort of reinvent the whole URL handling in ProcessWire – which is basically what any of the mentioned solutions is, even if it is only for a certain part of the page tree. As a front end developer I simply don’t want to have to take care of URL handling. That’s the CMS’ job. And ProcessWire does this job very well. I don’t want to completely separate the page tree structure from the URL creation. I’d just like to have an intuitive and easy to use way to skip one page tree level in the URLs if required. But probably this is no good idea at all. In most cases I can ether live with the extra level in the URL path, or I can structure my page tree using some “folder” pages and the multi-sort module, so that the most of the URLs are as short as I want them to be, while the page tree is still quite neatly arranged.
  5. Having multiple routes to a given page is certainly not a good idea. And I like the idea of the page tree as a kind of file system. But I also sometimes like to use pages as kind of “folders” in my page tree, but do not necessarily want them as part of my URL structure. TYPO3 has a nice checkbox giving me the option to omit a page’s URL section from the URLs of its children. This way you can use pages as “folders” to structure your page tree, but they can be invisible in the URLs if they are not required there. Would this be an idea for ProcessWire?
  6. As far as I tested it, this GitHub pull request should fix the bug when using the module with PW 3.0.32+: https://github.com/kongondo/MenuBuilder/pull/30

      Hi Michael! ?

I found this post searching for "Hubspot" in the Processwire forum.

And I really hope you could help me out.

I have an upcoming client project where the client is demanding that I use WordPress. Why? Because they say that it has to be it due to Hubspot integration. I suppose they're talking about the official Hubspot plugin for WordPress, which does seem rather powerful in terms of integrating the Hubspot features into WordPress.

But ofc I'd like to be able to suggest them to go with ProcessWire as (as I suppose you know) WordPress development is awfull! At least compared to the ease of ProcessWire.

It's a rather big b2b startup which I ofc would love to at some point see featured in the Processwire showcase.

Could you possibly give any kind of input on this? It would be amazingly appreciated! How would you approach this if it was your client? ?

Thanks a million in advance! ?

      All the best, Jonatan
