Nico Knoll Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Hi, I just finished my second module today. This one is based on the "js_QuickTags.js" of Alex King (alexking.com) which is under the LGPL licence. This module will add a toolbar above a given textarea which holds some insertable HTML tags. You can add it to a textarea like you would add TinyMCE. It's inspired by the HTML <-> TinyMCE switch editor of WordPress. You can download it here: https://github.com/NicoKnoll/QuickTags Hope you like it. Greets, Nico
Pete Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Congratulations on releasing another very useful module so quickly I like this one especially as it's somewhat similar to various forum software solutions for styling post content, but it actually teaches people some HTML instead of dumbing things down, whilst just making some things quicker for the rest of us.
ryan Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Very cool Nico, I look forward to trying this one out. My computer access is currently somewhat limited, but hope to try this in the next day or so. Thanks for your work on these new modules.
ryan Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I tried it out today and seems to work great! Definitely a nice tool for anyone that wants to work with HTML markup in their textarea field. Thanks Nico!
