Pete Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I think I'm with you there ryan - I use jQuery a fair amount but I never feel like I know it inside out and don't often use the same sort of functions as I would in PW so I'd never really get confused. I often look up jQuery functionality as I need it as it's never quite as straightforward for me as PW is. 1
mindplay.dk Posted August 29, 2012 Author Posted August 29, 2012 I think the goal should be to make ProcessWire's API as simple, easy and logical as possible for the place that ProcessWire works in. Okay, I'm sold on that 2
ryan Posted November 28, 2012 Posted November 28, 2012 Yes, I've been meaning to add it but neglected to put it on my list. I've just added it, so will plan this as a 2.3 addition. 1
sw_double Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 Would limit= selector work in parents() and siblings() ?
ryan Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Would limit= selector work in parents() and siblings() ? Yes--once I get this added, any valid selector should work. I'll try to get this in place within the next week. Btw, limit=n should already work for siblings
