biber
Hi, i've built a site for my wife http://malabu.de, which is fairly ready to show. But when I try something new it happens the whole site is temporarily damaged, because I'm still a newbie in php. Is it possible to show the same site simultanously stable for guests and with my experiments for logged-in Users? I think about something like a subdomain, but I don't know how to realize it without dublicating the whole content. Any ideas?
kongondo
Hi biber, There's quite a number of ways to achieve this. Here's a couple for starters: https://processwire.com/talk/topic/2475-quick-tip-for-testing-on-live-website/
arjen
Also look into the template switch based on your subdomain by Raymond.
biber
@ kongondo: Thank you for your answer, this gave me the first idea how to realize it. @ arjen: Thank you, Raymond's post showed me, how to use a complete template-dev directory. This was, what I was looking for. A great thank you to this fantastic helpful forum, even if it is not so easy to me to interact on english. arjen
Hi Günter, Whether PHP, ProcessWire or English: just keep add it and you'll improve, no doubt.
