  1. I've installed PW and built a site in the following directory: public_html/folder so if I go to url www.mysite.com/folder I get the homepage. The root directory currently has a holding page index.php. I assume that when I am ready to go live I will need to move everything from public_html/folder to public_html and make sure everything flows down from there. Is that correct?
  2. Hello, I have pretty strange situation. Hosting that I'm working on is forcing ISO-8859-2 encoding. I don't have any real access to it, just ftp to folder where I'm installing a site. None of htaccess solutions worked - have no idea why. The only thing that worked for me was adding header("Content-Type: text/html;charset=UTF-8"); to every template. But ProcessWire backend is still encoded in ISO-8859-2 and messy. How to write module that would add it to every ProcessWire pageload? Or to which PW file and where I need to paste it (probably it will never be updated)? My php skills are really poor. Know only basics that allow me to ingrate processwire to site.
  3. Hi guys, sorry if this post crosses over somewhat with another of mine. I've just migrated a site to a new server and as I usually do, I transferred files and folders, exported and imported db and changed config.php. The issue is that the homepage loads up fine but any subsequent pages throw a 404 error. There is a UNIX error it gives me at the bottom of the page though mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/ Have any of you any idea what this may mean? I have tried using rewritebase as my current url does contain a "~" but alas no joy.
  4. Hey. I had installed processwire two months ago and been building up the new site in the background on pw, while the old site was still online. I didn't have time to work on it so didn't look at it all April and now it doesn't work anymore. I can't get any pw page to show, not even the admin page ... it always displays the index.php file in the root directory if I try to go to any pw page. Can anyone help me? Can't figure out what happened! Many thanks in advance and best wishes Lars
  5. Hi there. I'm hosting my site on a friend's domain. In Google, when searching my site, it shows up as me.friendsdomain.com. I want it to show up as mydomain.com. Can I change this somehow using htaccess? If so, which parts of the file do I modify? Thanks.
