I'm a musician – guitarist, and I run a classical record label, furious artisans (furiousartisans.com). I do freelance web design with a focus on content management, and media, specializing in musician and music related sites.

I started doing web design in about 1996. I also worked a lot with Microsoft Access, building invoicing and product management applications for companies, so I have a decent knowledge of database design and SQL.

After having done mostly static sites I started using Joomla in around 2006. After becoming disappointed with way Joomla updates were being handled, and the overall inflexibility and complexity of the system, in combination with security issues, I stopped using Joomla in 2011, except for very specific needs. I have also worked extensively with Wordpress and GetSimple.

After stumbling across Processwire, and reading the forum for a few months, i developed a site with it and it worked really well. PW has become the default CMS for all of my projects, including both personal and client sites.
