IBM does it again

Just found this article with interesting IBM development.

IBM leaves the Von Neumann architecture that is in your computer today and opens doors to brain based computing in a distributed, parallel way, like the neurons and synapses in a brain. “Programs” are written using special blueprints called corelets. Each corelet specifies the basic functioning of a network of neurosynaptic cores. Goal is to create cognitive computers who can process huge amounts of data fast and with little energy.
