It has been requested and discussed lot of times thought. Read this whole thread for example. There is a module that claims to help with AWS S3. Haven't tried it myself. 2

I checked in around 6 years or so ago and we were talking about it so I was hoping someone made some progress. I can always attach an EFS share and make a sym link to that to get it off my server.
