Selfcheck - no errors next Step - Database Connection: ProcessWire 3.x Installer Database connection information did not work. SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] Connecting to 3.22, 3.23 & 4.0 servers is not supported i use php 5.56 and mySQL 5.6.19 Edited June 25, 2018 by ThomasH
wbmnfktr Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Please double check your database server host. As far as I know DomainFactory offered different versions of MySQL and your error message indicates a not supported MySQL version. For example: mysql4.domain.tld = MySQL 4.x mysql5.domain.tld = MySQL 5.x (should be used as we want MySQL 5.x) 1
ThomasH Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 hi - done: i use "mysql5.mydomain.tld" - no other versions of DB Host available
wbmnfktr Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 I'm out of ideas right now. When your db host is fine and (as I assume) your db credentials are correct too there isn't much left to check. Have you tried to connect to your db with a simple PHP script to verify the database is working? 1
