Schedule posts to be delete?

Hello,

Is there a way to delete posts based on a date? I'm thinking of switching to ProcessWire from WordPress and wondering if this can be accomplished.

There's the option to publish/unpublish pages with the Schedule Pages module if you want to completely avoid custom code, though deleting/trashing pages based on a field value is just a few lines with the Lazy Cron module.

Is there still a lazy cron module somewhere for processwire 2.7.x or is the 2.8.x compatible with 2.7.x ?

LazyCron is a core module, a compatible version should be in the wire/modules folder.
