If you want HTTPS for the entire site, do it via .htaccess. That's more efficient. Template setting is an easy way to force it on for specific templates only.

From the default PW htaccess file:

  # -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  # If you only want to allow HTTPS, uncomment the RewriteCond and RewriteRule lines below.
  # -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  # RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
  # RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

Yeah, I know about it. I was just wondering if there is any difference.
