julian-schaefer
Hey there, i just installed a PW 2.7.2 instance on an apache server. Installation went fine, no errors. I've already handled several projects using PW. But this time I can't find the page tree in my backend navigation (see first screenshot). Has there anything changed? I recently used PW 2.7.0 for another project with the page tree visible in the backend (see second screenshot). I know I can handle with .../processwire/page/ but it is essential for my authors that using the backend for creating and editing pages. Thanks for your help. Best, Julian
Macrura
the page tree is hidden, you can go find the page under admin, and unlock it, then un-hide it; i'm not sure why it is hidden by default, but once you un-hide it i think it should stay un-hidden. Tom. I believe it's hidden by default because "Pages" also took you to the page tree. This means on the default theme you have Pages and Pages > Tree going to the same place. I can see how Ryan saw this as confusing for non-technical users. However with Reno Theme you can't single click on the top level menu item, causing this problem. You can double click Pages to get to the tree, however I recommended: https://processwire.com/talk/topic/7625-reno-theme/?p=108089
