siteaddict
Hi Guys .... sorry new to processwire and a beginner in web developement etc (but trying lol). I am a small business owner I have put together a site in wordpress and frustrated trying to get it to do what i want. I know HTML and CSS and not scared to learn PhP etc but i have been looking around to start with a cms that i can learn and build upon as my skills increase so ive decided to give processwire and foundtion combo a go. I've try'd to get going and i'm stuck with field dependencies if any one can guide me id be grateful. heres where i'm at ive made some pages under car manufacturer example Car Manufacturer child ---Alfa Romeo child ----Audi and ive set a template up so they show up as i dropped down list when i add a new car using the template But what i'm looking to do is when a particular manufacturer is selected it brings up that manufactures models only so i have set up with childs and manufacturers like below Car Manufacturer child ---Alfa Romeo 33 Sport Wagon Petrol 33 Sportwagon Diesel child ----Audi A3 A4 ive set my car model field to field type page input file type PageSelect+ ive edited the templete field to show this field only if and i put this code in car_manufacturer!='' but the childs under selected manufacturer dont show Sorry if i sound a bit all over the place but im trying to learn
