From Backup to run it locally

Hi All,

I am still new on Processwire, I have a backup file and database script, the backup file includes site and wire folders, and sql script, the website was running before smoothly but because the hosting finished we decide to do a major improvements on the content of the website before transferring it to a new hosting.

 

My questions, How to make the backup run locally, without entering in a deep configurations.

You have to empty the cache and sessions in your backup before you can run it locally

Thank you for your quick response, I managed to open the websites, but the hyperlinks is not working and the slider images/titles are disabled. What's your advice please.
